Hi, I’m Danee Damore—also known as The Art Girl!

I’m a self-taught oil painter based in the Orlando area, and for the last 15+ years, I’ve been obsessed with the craft, process, and technique of painting. My studio is basically filled with art books, always studying the masters and artists I admire as I continuously build and refine my own skills.

When it comes to what I paint, I follow the dopamine. I pull inspiration from life, nature, and the sheer randomness of the world around us, which means I rarely stick to just one niche. You’ll find me bouncing freely between sweeping landscapes, quirky still lifes, wildlife, and veristic surrealism. Deeply influenced by the mind-bending conceptualism of René Magritte and the luminous, vibrant light in Jim Musil’s landscapes, I love pairing a solid technical foundation with playfulness, atmosphere, and story.

Whether it’s a serene horizon, a delightfully strange everyday object, or a dreamlike scene, my goal is simple: to make art that sparks curiosity and brings a little extra wonder to your day.
