"Everything we see hides another thing, we always want to see what is hidden by what we see." — René Magritte
Art is an invitation to pause, observe, and look beneath the surface of the world around us. Intrinsic to everything we do—whether we create or simply experience—art acts as a timeless bridge between the visible and the imagined. Through deliberate observation, I paint to uncover the subtle stories, humor, and mystery hidden within everyday life, creating works that connect us, spark curiosity, and stand the test of time.

A delightful study in light, water reflections, and subtle humor, Bottoms Up captures four ducks synchronized in a playful dabble. Set against a sunlit pond surrounded by trees and grassy banks, this piece highlights the contrast between the dark, rippling water and the bright white feathers tipped toward the sky. Meticulous brushwork brings out the movement of the water and the shimmering vertical reflections of the shoreline, turning a lighthearted moment of nature into a rich, impressionistic scene.
Whether displayed in a cozy breakfast nook, living space, or gallery wall, Bottoms Up brings a warm touch of charm, humor, and tranquil nature indoors.

Surreal, captivating, and rich with symbolic depth, Bubbles presents a striking modern take on the traditional vanitas motif. A polished, golden skeletal figure reaches out with bone-penciled fingers toward a shimmering, translucent soap bubble floating against a moody, textured backdrop of deep sapphire and violet hues.
Rendered in rich oil colors with dramatic chiaroscuro contrast, metallic bone sheen, and iridescent rainbow reflections on the fragile bubble, this piece explores the delicate beauty of fleeting moments. Custom framed in a sleek black profile and ready to hang, it serves as a bold, intriguing statement piece for modern living rooms, studies, or curated gallery collections.

Atmospheric, dramatic, and glowing with rich evening color, Dusk Glow captures a striking sunset fading behind silhouetted tree branches. A cozy small cottage rests nestled in the shadows, its warm window light glowing softly against the vibrant sky gradient transitions from golden yellow and fiery orange up through deep magenta and plum.
Rendered in rich oil paint with sharp value contrast and expressive tree silhouettes, this small landscape study brings cozy warmth and vivid color to small wall nooks, shelves, or gallery displays. Unframed on a sturdy canvas panel, it arrives ready to frame or display on a tabletop easel.
